I dont know whether Bush is a good Christian or not. I dont know if the Pope is a good Christian or not either. That really doesnt matter. Talk is cheap. Bush and the Pope can talk all day long and it wouldn't accomplish a thing. Action speaks louder than words, and btw, it is not just palestinians that are being murdered in the region. Suicide bombers attack Israel relentlessly, murdering innocent men, women, and school children. There is death on both sides, so dont paint a one-sided view of the situation there.

If the Islamic clerics were good Muslims would they condone all of the terrorism muslims are conducting worldwide? Are the rules for Christians any different than for Muslims when it comes to killing and death? It would seem so, because muslims are storing rockets and firearms in mosques and preaching violence towards Zion and the west right out of their mosques everyday.

If ur going to bad mouth Bush, the Pope, and Christianity, you should hold the otherside to the same standards.

Bush can't control what other nations do. All our nation can do is negotiate. Israel is an ally of the US. I don't see the connection here between Bush being a good Christian and whether or not he can talk with the Pope... Murder and terrorism are wrong but it does not have much to do with Bush being a bad or good person.

Many American Christians are not Christians at all. They preach hate, intolerance and an indifference to the killing of innocent people (especially if they are Arab or Muslim). Bush says he cannot sign the Stem Cell bill because it would be taking life to save it - what exactly does he think his little Iraq game is even if he buy into his justification for the war (which I don't)? Tens of thousands, hundred of thousand of innocent people die - oh well - just as long as the U.S. gets what it wants. Real Christians, true Christians who believe in love and peace (not these hateful fundamentalist idiots) are a rarity. I wish they would stand up to the impostors.

Hmmm..let me think back. How many dead and wounded were in NYC, Spain, London, etc? You still haven't figured out these groups are tied to that? I don't see this ending soon. I think we've just finally defined the battle ground upon which it will be resolved.

Bush is too much a conservative protestant to talk with the Pope.

the pope has no control over the jews or muslims. and Bush is not catholic, so that wouldn't do any good.

and Bush should do something more to support Israel. Hezbollah is targeting only civillians, while Israel is going after Hezbollah guerillas, and trying to avoid civillian casualties.

Only God can judge that, but are Palestinians good neighbors? NO. Israel gives back the Gaza Strip and Palestinians use it to rocket Israel. The Palestinians have been bombing Israel public places for years. They deserve what they get.
