Why stoop to the level of using the system to take care of your child??

Get a better job. Work two jobs if you have to.

I have absolutely no respect for people who get assistance from the state to take care of their children.

My mom raised 2 children by herself for 14 years. We didn't get WIC or welfare or any of that crap!! We didn't even have child support. She worked, thats how we got food. She worked nights, she worked weekends, she worked holidays (because they all paid more). We didn't complain that we didn't have our mom home on christmas, because she went to work to buy our christmas presents and to buy us food and to buy us a home.

Your child will not respect you if you let the state buy them the things they need. If you couldn't afford to have a child, maybe you should have kept your legs closed. I think it's crap that everyone else has to pay for your child to have food. Maybe you should give your baby to a family that can afford to feed it, instead of making the rest of us feed it because you cant do it yourself.
