Of course, if neither is looking for some sexual experience that the other won't know about. People have different interests and should be able to pursue them if not hurtful to the other party. It keeps the marriage alive!

I have known couples who had separate vacations. Husbands went to play golf courses while wives went to gulf. No problems at all. It was a nice change. Of course, this works only when there are set groups of people going on the trip that everyone can trust. I don't think a husband and wife should take off alone on these separate vacations. That is just asking for trouble.

Of course it is! In fact, sometimes people -need- vacations from eachother. If you still feel awkward about the fact, you should perhaps both take your seperate vacations, and then meet up somewhere in the middle for some together time.
