Hmmm... and just what kind of Rom are you trying to hack?

are we talking about microcomputer chips?...

or are you talking about CD-Rom?... or DvD-Rom?

First you need to learn how to program...

then you need to learn how to program well...

then you need to learn how it feels for someone to steal a project that you worked on for 3 yrs... and give it to everyone they know... so that you were unable to copyright it... or sell it.

First of all, it is not hacking. It is called emulation. You download an emulator of the game system you want to play. Then you download ROM's which work with that emulator. Allows you to play the games as if you are on the gaming system. You can do SNES, NES, Playstation, Dreamcast, Arcade, etc. It is pretty cool. MAME is a good first emulator to download.
