80GB SATA 7200rpm, Is the Best obviously And the best brand Ever is the Western Digital, mine is 120 SATA Western digital "and it's running smooth like a butter on a hot plate".

don't get confused, or excited by a cheep prise.
go for the Best always.
cause you'll have the hard disk for ever, If you choose the WD brand.

Definitely Seagate without doubt. But WD Caviar is better than tow.

I would stay away from maxtor. I have heard they go bad quickly. Seagate or western digital would be my choice.

I have had much better luck with the Seagates. They also back their warranty very well too!
