im a size 13/14 too, so i know what its like
everytime i turn on the tv or pick up a magazine, it shows thinthin girls with nothing. its DISGUSTING and not attractive at all.
i think if u're healthy and u love who u are, then thats all that matters!
and maybe its just because i am one, but i think bigger girls are waaaaaaaaaaaay prettier than skinny girls.

Being obese during caveman times wasn’t about fashion, it was about survival. I believe that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It also has to be said that women have an idea of what men should look like, too. I do, however, hate this idea that models MUST be 6’ and 110 lbs. Ballerinas and gymnasts, as well. I have heard many sad stories of these girls. I think it is the backbone of the thought women must be thin and the reason so many women in this country are anorexic or bulimic.

I will agree with you on the weight, if you look at photos of women from other cultures and even in our own early history, stick thin wasn't always in. The sad thing is only about 10% of the population born has the type of body's "models" have! So yes I think if you are healthy and no way overweight it is fine! and honey size 13 is by no means chubby!

Actually I kinda disagree with the skinny thing...I'm considered skinny but thats just cause I exercise a lot but the guys at my school like average sized girls. I think being an average/healthy weight is the best but as long as the person is a healthy weight then it shouldn't matter.

I way 186lbs now and was 115. you could only imagine what I looked like thin yuck.

I have done some plus size modeling-I'm a size 16-so I think curves look good. I know it is the current style to be rail-thin, but I could never be skinny, so I accept myself and make the most of what I have.

mostly because many women think there fat and want to look beautiful but are really killing there selves just because they think there fat. also because they want to look like some model or movie star or some famous person. And if theres a girl thats a big hit and shes skinny...MANY women are going to get skinny cause that big shot is skinny

Fashions come and go. In the 17th and 18th century it was fashionable for women to be much more rounded than it is nowadays. Prehistoric carvings of women are often grossly obese. In more modern times, in the 1920's very flat chests were fashionable, so many women had breast reductions.

Oh, this one is easy.
Fashion always dictates that whatever is most difficult to achive is most desireable.
For us in America, being stick-thin takes incredible work, or very good genetic luck. Therefore, that's the Thing to Be!

i dont think guys like size 3's just as much as they don't like heavy size 15 girls
i think they like average size girls 5 - 7...meat on their bones but no blub or cellulite...just a fit body...toned but not muscles or bones poking out.
