software has not been able to be simply copied from your computer for a long while now i am afriad, as when you install the software for the game, it just install to c:\thegame or whereever you install it to,
it installs files to c:\windows as well, and to your system registry etc etc, no realistic way to copy them all and install correctly on say a new machine
only real way is to attempt to copy the cd (make a backup of it), which is legal if you own the original cd, and do not intend to distribute it to others wether for free of for a fee

Assuming you mean just the CD/DVD that the game came on, for the most part you can use a program like Nero to make a duplicate.
