IF i am in a car and i am traveling the speed of light and i then turn on my lights do they do anything?????

If you are traveling the speed of light, the mass of the the light switch has increased to infinity. You cannot turn the lights on.

all right.....here's the deal. yes, the lights would turn on.....the speed you are travelling would not affect the mechanism to turn your lights on. what would be affected would be how someone saw them. if they were looking at your car when you turned the lights on, by the time you saw the lights the car could hit you and you'd be dead so you wouldn't see them anyway. :)

You lights will not do anything. Lights will only go as fast as the speed of light

no, they would be dark because the light would be traveling at the same speed as your car

I don´t want to dissapoint you but if you ever reach the speed of light, you will become history, not only because you will be the first human that do it, but also because really your molecules that represent your mass will be turned to Energy and you will be visible dissapeard, you, your car, anything that participating to that, according the E=m x (UxU). So you will exist but you will be energy not visible to our eyes, so NO CAR, NO LIGHTS, NO YOU!

Intresting question. I'd have to say they won't do anything. According to Einstein, you can get close to the speed of light but you can't get to or exceed it.

let me know when you reach the speed of light .. then i'ld let you know what they will do .. hee hee.. . but ok seriously now. i believe unless your going faster than light then you should still see it infront of you if your lights are facing forward. if your going the speed of light you won't see them unless youre staring at them. if your going faster than speed of light then you should see them behind you. but if you turn on your flash light inside and youre cabinet pressure is that of earth then it should react just as if you were on earth.
