Isreal will probably NOT attack Iran because that is suicide. If it does, the ENTIRE middle east will probably mob it like hell and completely obliterate it unless the US intervenes which while it many usually help, the US army is too spread out due to incidences in Iraq and N.Korea. The US will definitly count as a huge benefactor for the Isrealis if they do intervene but chances are they wont because the US population would completely "flip out" or more accuratly, react violently. At any case, the US does have the pure military strength and military technology to defeat Iran but the consequences of attacking such a country will probably distroy the US in turn which would suck since I'm living there now. But no matter what happens, there is no way that Isreal would be so foolish as to hit Iran because that would make the war a 3 sided war for isreal. It would be Iran, syria, and lebanon versus the US backed (not intervening) Isreal.

Dummy. Israel has nuclear war heads and the means to deliver them. Iran is still struggling with nuclear enrichment. Israel has one of the best air forces in the world, Iran doesn't. Israel has the US as an ally. An attack on Israel will trigger an American response, make no mistake about it. Result: - Iran will probably be wiped of the map.

I think if there ever happens to be a war b/w iran and us ( as the main head ) none of us bragging here will live long enough to see the end of that.
Firstly no one knows for sure whether Iran DOES or does'nt have nuclear weapons and I personally think they might have them.
Secondly, Iran about 1.6 Billion people and almost all of the world as its backup. Iran has the oil, the money and the right political stand.
And try not to forget that US aircrafts can not lift the nuclear bombs and missles without OIL for fuel.
Thirdly, Iran has a population of about 100 million, all of whom have proved during the 8 years of war with Saddam (and remember US supported and armed Saddam's army ) will risk all they have, including their lives for their country. US knows this as well as Iran's government.

If Iran or Syria did anything to threaten Israel, it would be a safe bet that Israel would pretty much wipe both of them off the map.
Israel has the best air force in the region, the most technically advanced weaponry and the fact that the US will back them in any way pretty much makes them a force to reckon with.
Not that it's right or anything.

I think the US and Iran are already at war. We don't have to be though. There is enough GOOD things that need to be done in the world, we need to find a way to work together.
Of course if that isn't possible we are going to miss Iran...

I see the beginning of a VERY unconventional way of warfare. If you think about it, what country could strike the U.S.A. and demolish the twin towers? The answer is none. Bin Ladden's group did it the same way that Iran will do it to Israel I believe...unconventionally. Iran is not that stupid to start lobbing nukes at Israel. They will finance troops, arms, etc... by way of Hezbollah. Think about it.

The only weakness America has is it's love for the innocent lives that are affected by the Terrorist who don't care about their own people. Israel has the best equipped (mostly thanks to the USA) and best trained (mostly out of necessity) army in the middle east. Iran doesn't want to take Israel on face to face, especially its air force. That's why they are using HezBULLie as its surrogate.
