Why do gay peope say that they are born gay? How would they know what sexual inclination they had as a baby?

Do they think that they could they pick out a gay baby out of a room full of babies?

Most people are straight, so if a homosexual has memories of a sexual inclination as a baby then it's probably a sign that they were sexually abused as a baby.

♥alnzack♥, I don't make a claim to have been born with any sexual inclination. But since it is natural to be straight and I have been straight for as long as I can remember, it is most likely that I was born straight which is the norm.

I have a couple friends who are gay and they both say that they don't feel the had any sexual orientation in their childhood, unless maybe they were straight. One guy said it he started getting into other guys when he hit puberty and the other said it was when he discovered gay porn online.

You are entirely missing the point. The point is that gay people are not gay because they choose to be, but because they were born that way. They are not basing this on any memories of sexual inclination they had as a baby. That's ludicrous. Were you born straight? How do you know? Do you have memories that tell you so?

Gay and straight people don't choose their sexuality. Did you choose to be straight? Was there a time when you wondered about girls and boys and decided to pick girls? No, of course not. You either are straight, or you're not. It's how your brain is wired. And gay people's brains are wired differently.

To your question, the answer is that nobody can say that as a baby they had any sexual orientation, but they are "wired" to be of one orientation or another. When one notices same sex or opposite sex people in certain ways, it shows where they may orient. When one hits puberty and has sexual feelings and thoughts, those are "natural" no matter what direction they travel (same sex, opposite sex, both sexes) and that "normal" response is what was "wired" at birth (actually during gestation). So, as straight people are "born straight" without being sexually abused, then gay people are "born gay" without any sexual abuse.

The term "at birth" doesn't mean a memory, but as you can remember your "first crush" or "first love" or "first heartbreak" or "earliest desires" so can everyone else. Some are "straight" some are "gay" and some are "others" but all are "natural" for them.

I dont think so. I belive that it is a choice that delovlops over time. Being gay is one prefernce like being straight. I mean when you are a baby cna you tell wich one is going to be gay or straight. I really like you question because it brings up a good point. But I do belive the you can tell that you are gay at an early age (not to sound gross or anything). I dont agree with that most people are staright and you cant not really say that. I was not sexually abused when I was child I had an great childhood and I am gay. I think that People need to be more open minded and let it rest. because my lifestlye as long as it is leagal and granted to me under the law. So I think that your question is a good one but not an easy answer.

I don't think anyone has any sexual inclination as a baby come on now be smart about it. But there was an age where you knew you liked the opposite sex right? same goes for anyone who is homosexual....they realize they have a certain attraction to the same sex, although when you're a kid i don't think it's sexual yet, but i knew i had certain "feelings" towards the same sex when I was about 5 or 6, and I'm pretty sure I wasn't sexually abused when I was a baby, so stop using that as a reason people are gay, that is so lame.

Were you born straight? Do you remember looking over at a baby of the opposite sex in the nursery and saying whoa what a hottie?? Can you pick out the straight baby in a room full of babies? They say that they were born gay because they don't ever remember a time when they weren't gay!

They say that because they have never had feeling towards the opposite sex, not because they had sexual feelings as babies. I have many gay friends and they all say they have know since they were young that they were different from those people around them. They usually realize it about age 5-6.

And most gay people are born genetically different than straight people, their hypothalamus gland is a bit different.

It's like if you are 5'10, that's what you are because it's what you were born to be.

Well, sexual orientation is just as irrelevant to a baby who is straight, so unless one of them is holding a purse, they obviously can know, silly. No i'm just messing with you now. I had my first warning of bi-sexuality the first time I watched Fresh Prince. I was like seven and I had a crush on....can't remeber her name, Vanessa I think? The gold digger chick. Seriously, I figured it out at about age eight. But I seriously doubt you can just be born that way.

I don't understand where this idea that homosexuality is not normal came from. Homosexuality is practised in the animal kingdom where there is overpopulation. A growing homosexual community is a sign that humanity has overpopulated the earth. This is a NATURAL form of population control.

I think you missed the point. Babies have no sexual preference however I think the point is that they were born Gay much like an alcoholic is born with alcoholism before his first drink!
