Just wondering if anyone could help me?

I was wondering if the actual tests you perform [where you pee to check] are more accurate than the charts from the internet [they are only on paper]???

Absolutely ovuation tests work better than internet charts. There is no way an internet chart can take into account fluctuations in hormones or your own body's chemistry.

Are you referring to basal body thermometer charts where you take your temperature every day and mark them on a chart? They both help you determine when you're ovulating. The ovulation sticks will be more expensive as you have to use at least 5-7 per month. If you choose to use the charting method, you'll have to do it for at least 2 to 3 months to determine when you're ovulating (you don't necessarily ovulate at the same time each month, even if you have a 28-day cycle every month, you could ovulate on day 12 one month and day 16 the next). Ovulation sticks can be a lot more frustrating (and expensive) if you have irregular cycles because it will be harder to determine when to start testing. If you use both, you should have a much better indication of when you're ovulating.

YES, the sticks are great. But there are many different kinds. I used the ClearPlan Ovulation Monitor ($200), and the sticks are about $40 for 30. You use approx. 10 sticks per month to monitor your cycle, and it TOTALLY works! I know it is expensive, but I thought getting pregnant was priceless. Plus, I didn't have to wait a while. I used it for 1 month and am expecting my girl in Dec!

Yes they do work. I take my BBT every morning, so i have an idea when i'll ovulate. IIf your cycle is normal then you'll have no problem detecting your ovulation. I used to test around at noon, and used to stop drinking water 2hours before testing. IThe ovulation test will give you a better results.

Good luck !

I think using them together is your best bet. I chart using www.fertiltyfriend.com and I use OPKs from www.saveontests.com

Both work, but together I get a really good picture of what is going on.
