Through a tough time of manic experiences and anxiety related breakdowns my seperated girlfriend after much thought offered her support saying she wanted to be there for me - subsequently she has shown annoyance at my appeals of which there was one in a month since that date - the one resulted in me needing to call her 5 days after she had left on holiday with what used to be one of my male friends who has since become a soul mate of hers nothing more - in the desperate situation of having an attack I contacted them both by sms and requested a number to all on describing in detail that I did not want to experience that feeling again the response was well in fact there was no reponse other than what is so important that you wish to talk and i will call in 3 days from London , this resulted me in calling his cell phone as it was switched on - several attempts were made and even sms sent to notify i was calling the result of the non response plunged me into a terrible attack what can i do

You need to talk to a psychiatrist, not your girlfriend. Not only is she not trained in how to help you, she may also not be sufficiently prepared to handle the pressure of giving you the support you need. Stop calling her and call up your family (who is used to the situation already) or a qualified therapist.

have you been diagnosed with Bipolar or other mood disorder? are you taking your meds? getting counseling (from a professional) if not, you need to do these thing now. if you are suicidal or in crisis you need to go to the ER, or call 1-800-448-3000 you need to get yourself better, focus on that first...

It could be that your personalities clash and that you are both enabling each other to exhibit these behaviors. There are many people that make me nervous, or uneasy.

Best for me to stay away from that type. Whereas, with others I'm at ease.

your girlfriend is doing what is best for her maybe seeing you flip out makes her afraid?
take meds....feel better..be happy..

please see your dr. to adjust your meds...i would start over with someone else and chalk this one up to experience....check sites about panic attacks and people who are close to you...i mean manic attacks....i'm bipolar....
