Keelan, I know of one and he was named after his place of conception.
My sister-in-law would kill me however I really like the name and he is a cutie.

what might be interesting is to do kind of a survey using numerology for example, or some other bit of esoterica, and have his name "equal" his birth date. will he be born during leo--i.e. before aug. 22nd. more or less? perhaps the word for lion in an unusual language, if it turns out to be attractive. just some random thoughts. and, congratulations! (if he will be a leo, you will never want for creativity, charm, wit and entertainment, balanced alas by attention seeking and modest tantrums. but, it's worth it. btw , if you are so inclined, have his natal chart done, and then you can work with his strong points and be ready for the others.) leos rule! :-)

You can name him after a month, like August or Octavio (for October).
Like August James or something. How many little boys can you see running around with that type of a name?
Or, how about Allison or Alliston? not that many boys name that, either.

Jakkin from a book I read as a kid called dragon's blood. He was born into a camp for poor people to pay off teir dept. He found a dragon egg, hatched it, raised it tofight and then made enough money to get his family out of poverty. He was friends with a girl named Akki.
