Planned Parenthood gives other suggestions too like adoption and open adoptions. But, it depends on where you live. if you are near a big city, look up the local planned parenthood call and ask questions before you go in. The people at the clinics shouldn't be pro-choice or pro-life. They also do tests and regular gyno checkups. depending on the income it can be quite affordable. if you are out in the country the local hospital can direct you to a doctor that does health check ups for low income people at a fairly good rate. If you are having troubles go to the emergency room they wil direct you to the nearest doctor that accepts medicaid , which if you are pregnant you will automatically qualify for. goodluck

Women are never encouraged to "murder their babies" at Planned Parenthood. They will at PP, however, give all the different options available, which can include abortion.
Planned Parenthood is probably the most "affordable" place for those that can't afford to go to an actual doctor.

I was going to suggest Planned Parenthood, where they would give her the health assistance she needs. They don't force any woman to have an abortion. Besides, you asked about female health tests, not necessarily anything to do with pregnancy. An anti-choice place like Birthright would probably only be interested in a woman if she were pregnant, and then they'd be more interested in the unborn embryo than they'd be in her health.

planned parenthood is for free health care before or after pregnancy
your local health department is the same
your doctors office while not free is just as likely to encourage an abortion as planned parenthood is (and for the same reasons too)

If you live in a large city, go to a public hospital. Or, call directory assistance (411) and ask for the telephone number of Crisis Hotline. It's an organization that helps people with problems. Just ask them to give you the telephone number of a clinic or hospital, where you can get free health tests. You don't have to go into specifics, if you don't want to.
Just say, you can't afford a doctor and want to get a check-up.
All the best.

Contact your local health dept in the city, town or village where you live. it is listed in the white pages under.. EXAMPLE
PARK FOREST HEALTH DEPT.
Call and ask to speak to a nurse, and ask for referrals to access to care programs. That is programs where people who have low income or no money can see a Dr or dentist and get treatment in your local area. That is the best place.
You can also contact a Medicaid office, and maybe your last Drs office for a referral.
You can always check with Planned parenthood which has an office in most local communities.
good luck

Most cities have some sort of health clinic which can provide free tests if you qualify financially. You can usually find information online at your county or state's governmental websites. Your local phone book usually provides information on county health clinics too....or at least a few numbers for local government agencies which might point you in the right direction. Good luck

Planned Parenthood does NOT encourage people to have abortions. You should try them, they're wonderful. They don't even do abortions at all locations, so you could go to one of the ones that don't. Or you could try: http://www.nrlc.org/ ask them where you can go for female services that are not Planned Parenthood.

Depends on how old you are, sometimes there is a cut off age... but you can go to a free clinic.. check with social services in your state and inquire on where you can go for testing and check ups.... they usually exist in every state but the best way to find them is to go to your states website and look up social services or call 411 and ask for social services number. Also talk to your school nurse who may have more information on these types of places or even some of the kids you trust at your school. Look also in the yellow pages... you may find something in there as well.
