lol its for a eyebrow piercing for people that don't know so u can wear it at a workplace and it not be seen but yet the whole not close..

its for an eyebrow piercing.. basically u wear it in place of the metal and its clear lucite that hides the piercing but yet keeps the hole from closing u wear it at work etc..

Lucite is plastic so you can wear it for short spans of time only. Acrylic (lucite) is not good because it is porous.
I suggest Pygrex or Quartz.

What the heck is an eyebrow retainer? The only retainer I've heard of is for the teeth. Ask your Dr,. or ask the person who put it in your eyebrow. If you are irritated or infected, have it removed. Believe me, you won't always be :"into" eyebrow retainers, etc, In fact a future employer may well frown upon the practice. Same goes for visible tattoos and tongue piercings. You'll find out!
