It's ok to used black plastic,only if you don't want ANYTHING to grow there at all.Yhe balck plastic will prevent ANYTHING from growing.

Black plastic is okay for a little while but weeds will eventually grow through it also. Best to use round-up. Keep using it once every 3 months. You will not have problems with weeds again.

Sure you can use black plastic, BUT know that when it gets cold snakes may nest there. I think the best would be to use the Season Long grass and weed killer by Ortho. Amazingly it really works. I've used it for the past 2 years.

I don't think i would use plastic, it will become a great home for insects. I use total weed and grass killer at home depot. It lasts all summer. I do it every year.

you can put vinegar in a spray bottle and apply to the weeds. It will kill the weeds and is safe for the environment.

It is okay, but I have found salt is great! Did you know that where ever you sprinkle salt nothing will grow :D Good Luck
