Good movie. If you like the other two movies go see it, but be warned: it's different. Very different. As in it's so emotional cause everybody's dying and Jean's gone insane different. Oh, and one more thing. Stay after the credits, there's a little scene at the end. Pay attention and it will give you something to think about.

***SPOILERS- DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT****
Sucked. Huge disappointment after the outstanding second installment. Brett Ratner must have gone to the "24" school of killing off major characters in demeaning ways that show no respect to the character. Starting with the pointless and meaningless death of Cyclops WHICH THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE COJONES TO DO ON CAMERA!!!! It was all about bang for the buck in this episode, trying to squeeze in as many fight scenes and new characters with none of the requisite character development that must come first. Angel was nothing more than a bit player (we're talking about one of the 5 original X-men here) and a wonderful potential plotline around Mystique's loss of her powers and how she gets even with Magneto for abandoning her is reduced to a mere afterthought.
This movie fails on every single level that its predecessor excels. Sad.

I thought it was average. The soppy patches ruined what should have been a good action flick. I came out of it feeling like I wasn't sure if I'd just been to see an X-Men movie, or a chick flick. They should have stuck with the original director.
