so on tv theres all sorts of ads from various clothing companies advertising straight/skinny jeans. seems to me it is coming back in style. is it? if so is it just for women or for men as well?

It's for both.....Male rockers have always worn skinny jeans.....It's just an 80's style that's resurfacing...Wear them once & you will know if you want to wear them again....Try to sit down in them before you buy them...<^..^>....

Absolutely and they are for men and women. I hear men are even wearing women's jeans. I don't know how great that would look, but I'm sure you can find some skinny jeans at Urban Outfitters or Diesel. They are very new wave/punk.

You can make a ton of different looks with one pair of straight leg jeans. You can wear a t shirt with a pair of high tops to make it look more rocker, or you could wear a long flowing shirt with fun unique jewelry a empire wasted belt, and a pair of wedges to get more of the bohemian look. You can also go preppy by wearing a polo or layering camis and pairing them with a cute pair of flip flops, you could even cuff them into a pair of cropped pants. As you can see, straight leg jeans are just as versatile as any other pair of jeans, and one hundred times more fashionable.

I don't know, but if the women have to wear them, the men should to. Why should we be the only ones to wear the thigh-hip enhancing jeans? I so don't like them....:)
