I do not believe that a word can be bad. Bad usually refers to actions or feelings and these are not things I would attribute to words as I do not see how a word can feel or act.
Words can be used to invoke feelings and actions, however any bad feelings or actions invoked by words are not the fault of the words.

Exclamations or mutterings of general discontent:
Spiteful h*ll!
Oh for the love of Bernadette...
For cryin' out loud...
"Flipping" instead of the other f-bomb, as in "Shut the flippin' door, wouldja?!"
"Shyte" instead of the other s-word
...None of these are as satisfying as *actually* cursing, but they do feel better than saying nothing & keeping the frustration in - lol.

I usually say hebbie geebies! I got hebbie from the word hippie, and I got geebie from the word gerbil. I was talking to some friends of mine, and they used the word hippie, and gerbil, so I just took the two words, flipped them around a bit, twisted them to what I wanted to say, and I came up with hebbie geebies! It usually allows me to express what I want to say w/out having to use curse words.

I always say: "Oh Pooh Bear." What comes out of the mouth is what lies in the heart. Whenever possible I try not to say bad words.

I have quite a collection of "bad words" but my favorite is "oh balls"...it's used more out of desperation that in replace of a swear word. Or I use "nuts".
