well religion is every where they say its not in law but it is they make you swear on the bible and they don't care if it offends any one its even in the military you have to swear on the bible just to enlist and you have to go to church with the rest of the platoons and i'm not saying that religion is a bad thing theres nothing wrong with church's and bibles its just that they should be more considerate of other's religions and beleifs...

That's a subjective answer. If you are part of a religion and you feel that following ideas and rules makes you feel better then why would you stop practicing your faith.
If you are talking about someone of another religion telling you how to live then no, you shouldn't be forced to follow the ideas.
I say just follow the golden rule, which applies to most religions, treat others the way you want to be treated.

You can be forced to follow rules, but not ideas. Just because you are following the rules, doesn't mean you believe in them. So, in other words....no.

No, I don't believe anyone should be forced to follow a religion. They should be led by example.

NO! Religion was set up by PEOPLE! to control. If you feel a need to talk to god why would you need to go to a specific place and hang with certain people to do that. God gave you the gift of thought why would he do that if some guy was to tell you everything to think about the subject.

Hell, no. Everyone's got a right to choose how they want to live their own lives. If they want to follow a particular religion, let them.

Great for all the answers seen so far!!! Just let me remind you people, what life used to be not so many centuries ago. Remember the Mayflower, remember the king and queen of spain in 1492, (Fernando & Isabel, called the Catholics, who forced arabs and jews to be baptized or exiled or dead) remember what ideas and forced religion the "conquerors" brought to central and southamerica in the XVth and XVIth century.. etc. etc. So,... people... let me congratulate you and me for living in this corner of the world and in this "corner" of time. I love it. Saludos

You should be allowed to. Most religions require that you believe, so it would be pretty difficult to "force" someone to follow them.

No.It all started w/ free agency. We all have the agency to choose or to make out own choices. Being forced to worship a certain way would not be a true 'test of our faith', if you can will.
