Jane Fonda was a peace activist during the Vietnam War. The thing that is held against her is that she did a film documentary about US POWS in which she interviewed actual prisoners in the prison called the Hanoi Hilton. She was used by the North Vietnamese government to do a staged pr bit about the prisioners. She has never been forgiven for what at the time was thought of as treason.

Jane Fonda was filmed in North Vietnam clapping as they fired antiaircraft guns to bring down planes piloted by American men who had been drafted into the war. Now she still lives in the U.S. America instead of Vietnam. Love it or leave it, 40 million Mexicans can't be wrong.

She was very anti-war during the Vietnam War. While she was not alone in that view, she did take it a step further by actually visiting the enemy. Hence, her nickname "Hanoi Jane". American soldiers were bleeding and dying during one of the nastiest wars (that wasn't even officially declared as such) the US has ever fought. Most Vietnam Vets have never forgotten, nor forgiven her for that. I honestly can't say that I blame them.

She was a anti-war person....she went to North Vietnam...toured the Hanoi Hilton (Prisoner of War camp where they mistreated the prisoners very badly, Made the prison in Iraq that the media is so freaked out about look like Disney Land) She made anti-war statements on North Vietnam radio...she is a traitor...there is much more, but that is the gist of it....

Because Jane felt the best way to protest the war was to travel to North Vietnam and have her picture taken with some anti-aircraft guns that were used to kill Americans. Classy.

For the very similar reason our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan despise Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, John Murtha, Billary, Emanuel, Kennedy, and Kerry ! Jane Fonda became her decrease back on the troops in Vietnam, a similar way Reid and his ilk have became their liberal backs on our troops, in the present day. How can our us of a proceed to enable those human beings represent our pastimes even as they could't help our troops ! This certainly is treason of the worst style . that is betrayal to the proper we'd want to furnish, those who sacrifice their lives to guard our pastimes . Partisan politics, in conflict time, has no supporters. Politicians who turn their backs on our little children in uniform for his or her own political benefit, a minimum of, need to be tarred and feathered !

She was an anti-war activist that took it too far. She went to North Vietnam and they used her in their propaganda. She said some very stupid things and even posed on an anti-aircraft gun like she was shooting down American planes. She did things probably partially to spite her dad, but ended up being pretty close to a traitor. I have read that she regrets it or at least that she regrets hurting so many people.

Because she committed treason. Hanoi Jane, as the b*tch is fondly know as, visited Hanoi in support of the North Vietnamese. She talked about how well our POW's were being treated even after viewing signs of their torture first hand. Like Tokyo Rose and Lord HaHa before, she deserved to be executed!
