My daughter is taking pre ballet she just started at age 3
But, the dance studio we got to offers a toddler movement class which is sort of an introduction to dance class. I hope you find one for your daughter, she will love it. My daughter loves to dance too and she has ever since she could walk. good luck!! If you get her in one or if you just want to contact me and I will give you the info for a really great website to purchase dance clothes and shoes!!

Our local parks department has "mommy and me" classes that are for 2 year olds. Then the beginning ballet class is for ages 3 to 5. Then I think the next class up is for 5 and 6 year olds.

Since your child isn't even two years old yet, I imagine anything you find will be a "mommy and me" type class. She's kind of young for a structured ballet class at this age. Just spend time listening to music and dancing with her to have fun!

Some dance studios have pre-ballet for kids as young as age 2 or 3. Call friends you trust for a recommendation, then call the studios and ask.

Some dance studios offer Mommy & Me courses, usually for children 2 years and up. :)

I don't know, but maybe you should ask at the dance studios in your area. then if she is too young you can find out how old she has to be to join.

It's probably best to wait until they are potty trained, but I have seen them as young as two years. I had all my boys in gymnastics at one year.
