I am getting good responses here and have figured out that the fan is not working when the bike is on. I noticed in the fuse panel under the seat, there is no fuse in this box (only lights, turn signals, brake light, and ignotion). Is there a fuse for the fan? How can I replace the fan? I see it is behind the radiator and looks pricey for the labor for the service......help!!! lol

Do these electrical tests with the key on.
-Unplug the wires going to the fan.
-One wire (wire harness side) should have battery voltage.
-Plug the wires back together and jump the other wire to ground. The fan should come on.
-Test the wire going to the fan switch. The switch is on the thermostat housing (the rear of the rad cap). The switch is furthest to the rear. With the fan connected, ground that wire. The fan should come on.
-If every thing's good so far, change the switch.
-To remove the fan - drain the coolant, remove the exhaust, remove the rad and fan as one unit.

Should be a fuse for the fan, too. Try that first, then see about getting a shop manual for the bike. Should have detailed instructions about how to replace the fan.
