Is Yahoo or the fake Edna's is any way liable if this abusive conduct and her reputation is allowed to degrade whether you like her or not?

Edna Bambrick is a Christian lady who gained instant fame on yahoo answers by reporting everybody you asked vulgar questions and answers. She was instantly hated and there are now 30 Edna impostors on Yahoo answers that mock her. The real Edna has cult statis has gotten her name in the encyclepedia, but Yahoo is at a loss as what to do with her. She is currently suspended for reasons Yahoo is not saying. She followed the guidlines though.

I'm trying to understand your question. I thought I'd been reading that "Edna" was the person or entity or screen name that had been reporting illegal posts/answers, etc. But your question infers that Yahoo would be inventing Edna to NOT report illegal reports.

Libel is slander, written and publicized----made available for the public to read. Why would yahoo promote a crime in order to have that crime then reported to themselves?
