this was one of the worst superhero movie ever made.i think those who liked it are nuts.

I *LOVED* the movie. I love that it brought Superman to a whole new generation, and it paid respect to the Christopher Reeve Superman so many of us grew up on. Brandon Routh is absolutely wonderful as Clark/Superman, he combines the nobility of the Christopher Reeve Superman with the sexiness of the Dean Cain-Tom Welling Supermen...then he adds his own strength and vulnerability. He was wonderful.
Loved Kevin Spacey....he is SO good at being bad! Loved James Marsden...he's wonderful as Richard.
Didn't like Bosworth...at all. Also, didn't like that they removed "The American Way" from Superman's credo...you just don't mess with tradition like that.
BUT...I can't wait to see it again. You get a FULL DOSE of the Superman power and nobility, and it's great to have him back!

I really was disappointed. I didn't like it at all. It was boring-no chemestry between Lois & Clark, none between Lois & her love interest, there was no chemestry between the guy playing Superman and any one else in the film, the story sucked, they took out the best line (Truth Justice and the American Way.) the only good things were the guy who played Lois love interest (the Cyclopse guy-he is F-I-N-E) the little boy was cute as a button, and there was a cameo of a boxer in the film. Aside from that-yuck.
Even Kevin Spacey was sucky.

I liked Superman, because it had a great storyline. Also it was humorous, it had action, and it had love! Basically it had most of the elements I like in a movie!

I liked it because it remained true to its original portrayal of the superhero by Christopher Reeve. This being said, the new actor could have been a little more talkative.

Loved it, it was so freaking awesome. Love the new suit and Brandon Routh is a hotty.
