Ha ha ha...no, of course not. That's silly...

Russians have Ded Moroz (and Snegurochka his granddaughter). Ded Moroz is "Grandfather Frost" which is almost like Santa Clause...but he is so much more real! Real enough that even *I* believe him!

Seriously now, Ded Moroz doesn't have reindeer and doesn't tumble down chimneys. Who could really believe something like Santa Clause--a plump man pulled around by reindeer (one with a blinking red nose at that!)? Even more unbelievable is the idea that someone that plump can fit down millions of chimneys in one night...I wouldn't bet on him even being able to fit in one. It's like when I try to fit certain things up my nose...you know, I can only stuff certain things up it like coins and M&Ms...I cannot, for example, fit books or glasses (even empty ones) up it. The same analogy can be applied to Santa Clause: no way that man's going down a chimney.

Ded Moroz doesn't do chimneys...he just gives us our presents in person. And often, he is accompanied by Snegurochka who looks pretty good some years! I can see why Santa has to have short men assist instead of a pretty lady like Snegurochka! Ded Moroz is often depicted as thinner than Santa...besides, even if Santa was real once, he's probably had a heart attack or such by now!

Yes I do. He is the spirit of Christmas. His name is actually in the name. (Christ). He gave his life for our sins. And to thank him, we celebrate his birthday by giving to others. And also their was a man with the name St. Nick. And he got it started by passing out gifts. So there is a Santa Clause.

sometimes we don't really need to believe if santa clause does exist or not..just imagine he is there for us for every christmas bringing everyone closer, isn't it perfect ? i mean so what if he doesn't exist, if the kids are happy cos of santa clause, there is no harm living in fantasy?

Yes, because Santa Claus evolved from St. Nicholas.

Yes, of course. I see him once a year. Usually in December. We have a recurring date at the mall. He's married you know, but he still gives me gifts when we hook up. I sit on his lap and his eyes twinkle so merrily. His cheeks are so rosy when I tell him everything I want him to give me. I even give him my cookies before he leaves for another year. I've always thought his story about living with a bunch of elves was a little fishy though...

Of course, I see "Chris" everyday... I'm "Mrs. Clause". I got the hook-up like you would not believe! Every christmas we spend lots of money and deliver gifts to children, three of them in fact and they all have our last name! ♥
