My cousins 16 years old..and wants to know about...you know...a three lettered word...starts with s and ends with a ex. What am I suposed to tell her?(don't HAVE to be specfic) but do I tell her my thoughts...or just tell her to talk to her parents..or somthing eles. I'm NOT telling her how it happens...or anything. don't say any disgusting things on here...there are young people searching the yahoo anwsers.

I do agree with the above post under one condition - that she WILL ask her parents.

It's unfortunate that many kids these days learn about sex from their peers... learn FALSE INFORMATION from their peers. But, reality is that peers are the ones you get the most information from.

So if you can explain things to her in a mature fashion (maybe you're a bit older than her?)... and you know that she won't ask her parents about it... then its better to hear it from you than it is from people who just don't know what's going on. And if you think you might be ignorant on some things, then the two of you could do some research online (credible sources!) together. About the physical and EMOTIONAL aspects of it all.

shes your cousin it isn not your place to tell her. if she has questions you should let her mom know.
