THEY NEED TO BE HOME REMEDIES.And I need directions too if none of you mind.

if u use a q-tip and dab a little bit of rubbing alchohol on it, that pretty much works. it doesn't remove ALL of the scratches but it does a pretty good job.

Put a thin coat of smooth peanut butter ont he CD, wait about a minute, then wipe it off with a soft towel (not tissue paper, the fibres will stay on the CD). This works about 90% of the time for me.

Plain white toothpaste, just a touch, and a soft clean cloth. Rub it on then polish it off. Burn a copy of the CD because any remedy isn't going to last forever.

Anything with a very fine grit texture will work as a polishing compound. Add a drop or 2 of water. Car polish, toothpaste, etc....Then buff it out with a soft lint free cloth.

Just ust car wax, The paste type seems to work best. Let it dry to a haze then wipe from the center out making sure not to wipe in a circular motion.

I wouldn't listen to those answers, they sound iffy t me! Try wet towel.
