How do I seal a camphorwood carved eagle, 5' wide, for outside use?

use any good wood sealer and let dry for a day or so then coat with polyurethene

There is a product called wood deck sealer,it comes in all different name brands,but the sealer will protect the wood.The only drawback is that you have to reseal the wood once a year or so.Thompson's wood sealer is what I have used in the past.If you don't mind resealing the wood once a year,that's what I would use.
