I have came across this question before, but with dog blood, no one ever listens, so I'm going to try it again, when you steam clean a carpet with a steam cleaner it brings almost everything to the top and then the steamer sucks it out,,,,,,Well if you take carpet shampoo and soak the stained area then put a wet hand towel over it and take a very hot iron lay it on the stain for a few seconds then pull the iron and hand towel up and take a scrub brush to the spot it will come up like magic,,,this works wonders on any STAIN..but if you are doing the whole carpet you will want to use a carpet cleaner afterwords..it will make a old carpet look new again, what do you have to lose ....Nothing....i used to clean apartments and i had a old hippie carpet man tell me this so i tried it and OMG it works........it gets marker stains out, gum, glue, animal urine, dye, dirt, blood, food,,,it you are having a party and you want your carpet to look its best then do this...

You can get candle wax out of carpet by using paper bags and an iron. Cut open a paper bag to make a large paper surface. Put the cut open paper bag over the wax spill, and use the iron over the paper to melt the wax. The wax will be absorbed into the paper bag.

I had a puddle of green wax, about 4x4 inches, and soaked into beige carpet. I laid a very absorbent (Scott brand) paper towel down over the stain area. I set my iron to it's highest setting, and without touching the paper towel, hovered the iron less than an inch away and steamed through the paper towel. Using a putty knife, I pressed the paper towel against the stain, and it would soak it up. I repeated this process MANY times until eventually all of the wax was soaked into the paper towel, and there I had my carpet back to normal!

Try heating the candle wax with a blow dryer, just a little at a time and blot the melting wax with a dry cloth. If you get the wax too hot it will permanently absorb into the carpet fibers.

I did the same thing as your babies. I know for a fact that this works! An old terrycloth towel and an iron. Put the towel on the wax and iron, holding the iron down on the towel longer where the wax is thicker. I guarantee all the wax WILL come up!

Put ice in a bag and put it on the wax. When it gets really cold scrap it off. Then with as little left as possible take a triple folded paper towel and use a warm iron to take the remainder out. Keep blotting till it is all gone.

lol! I just answered this question about a tablecloth! Cover the wax with a brown paper bag, and iron the bag. The wax will melt into the bag and come out of the carpet. Good luck!

Place a clean absorbent cloth on the wax and hold a hot iron on it. The cloth should pick up the wax.

NO PROBLEM very easy. Take a paper towel and lay it over the spot ,set your Iron on "Linen" and away you go. Just don't press to hard on it and change the paper continuously. It comes out usually with the first and second press of the Iron. good luck
