Why do most men go for the skiny girls???

Every time you watch a romance film htey always go for the skinny people or if your at a party and your friend gets left jst because shes fat....that is so dread

I think it's because they like to feel big compared to the girl, as it makes them feel more masculine, so you'll find that guys that especially like skinny girls are usually the most insecure about their masculinity. Guys are hardwired to look at curves, not bones. I don't think skinny girls work harder, they are usually just naturally that way and never gain weight no matter what they eat or they are starving themselves. I'm not skinny, because I'm not built that way and I'm not starving myself to be a size 2. I'm slim with curves and I work very hard to look good, working out 3 or 4 times a week. I personally would prefer to have my toned size 6-8 figure to a size 2 any day of the week. Just be proud of who you are.

I am a guy, and I have no idea. Their are studies to suggest that it is hardwired, that a certain type of figure suggests fertility. So, it is not "skinny" that counts. Rather, it is a particular type of figure. It is all about proportion. And, it is about as easy to understand and explain as why people find sunsets beautiful.

I have found that as I age, I find a much broader variety of women attractive. Other men seem to find the same thing too. Nevertheless, although I find more types of women attractive, there is still a pretty narrow range of what I could say is really stunning. Catherine Zeta Jones is an example of truly stunning woman. Notice, she is very curvaceous.

If a woman is fat and wants to be attractive to men in "that" way, the only thing to do is to work toward the goal of getting closer to the ideal. But please, don't abandon your soul, mind, and wit on the way! There are many more important things than being attractive to the opposite sex!

It's all about image. What looks more attractive, skinny or fat? Whatever the evil media (music videos, movies, magazines, etc.) want to promote their goods, they would choose a rail, thin, hungry-looking model as a their pitch person. Wow! An excellent example for our young girls! NOT!! That is why our young girls are so self-conscious about their bodies especially around ages 6-8. It is a crying shame. The young girls these days should thank their lucky stars (and their maker) accept who they are and appreciate the body they are born with. Also, we much teach them they don't have to worry about a thing and to be proud with their bodies. It's okay to have flaws here and there (believe me I do), but it is wrong if you are morbidly obese. Take care of yourself (mind and body) and be confident of who you are. I was very, very overweight as teenage and lost down to a size that I am comfortable with. So comfortable that I became more confident and the fellas see that too. Besides, the bigger the cushion, the better the pushin'!! ;)

It goes back to our animal roots. Animals that just reached adulthood are skinny. So a skinny girl is younger in general, especially before America got fat. If a guy marries a skinny girl he has about 24 years to get her pregnant time and time again. If he picks a fat girl she is probably older and he might only have 12 years to get her pregnant. He will have half as many babies and pass on half as many genes. Therefore in this example, there would be twice as many guys who prefer skinny girls in the first generation. Each generation after that the numbers would get further and further apart until skinny loving guys so outnumber fat ones you would have a population like we have today. Most guys like skinny girls.

Umm I'm skinny but not a lot of guys "go for me". I've actually only dated guys that were mostly skinny but with muscle. I think it's just opinionated because my friend who is of average weight gets waaaay more guys than me and I don't mean unattractive ones.

If you had lived in another time period, you would have seen men preferring women a little more voluptuous, as these women were better able to survive pregnancy and nursing.

some guys are just attracted to a smaller body. and its really hard to not have a guy like you because you are a little bigger...but if a guy cant like you for your mind and personality, then he isnt worth it.
