I read that wearing flat shoes make your knees hurt. Is this true? I wear flats everyday, and i have been noticing that my knees sometimes hurt. What can i do to prevent this?

Your shoes need to be properly fitting and offer support & cushioning. A variety of problems stem from the feet - everything from back problems to hip problems to knee problems.

Try getting a supportive and cushioning orthotic or insert and see if that helps. And try to look for shoes that are better for you.

Good luck to you.

Wearing flat shoes you don't take advantage of the foot's arch for support and shock absorption... so the next place up the leg... is the knee. Wear pads in your shoes to help ease the shock... and if necessary, lose the flats.
