Start with using a moisturizer. If you are planning on using any type of foundation, just buy a tinted moisturizer, it will give you the feeling of just wearing a moisturizer, but with a little color.
Do you need blush? or are your cheeks already a bit rosey?? If you want to wear it, pick up a light shade (probably in a coral-pink tone) of a cream blush. Apply it lightly to the apple of your cheek with your finger tips. To find the apple smile, its the big round part right under your eyes. This will give you the just pinched cheeks look.
For your eyes, if you want eye make up, just apply a light gold or shear off white color to just below they eyebrow and in the tear duct. Then apply some mascara. Curl your lashes first, it will open up your eyes.
For lips, I usually just use chapstick most of the time, but if you want, use a gloss. If you have the perfect shade of lipstick but it looks too harsh, turn it into a gloss. This also works well for winter when lips are too dry for lipstick.
To make lipgloss buy a little plastic container with a lid. You can usually find them in the travel section. Mix either vaseline or chapstick with a little lipstick. Put both in the container and microwave for about 30 sec. Mix together with a toothpick. Add a little more lipstick if needed until you get the right color.

If you want the natural makeup look, try this...
Use any foundation that works on your skin tone and color. Don't use too much or else your skin will look cakey. Then brush on some bronzer...a good kind is mac refined golden bronzer (But it is kinda expensive)...a cheaper brand i like is bonebell powder bronze.
For your eyes, some people need eyemakeup, others don't. If you need it, buy full n soft maybelline mascara and lightly coat it on your top and bottom lashes.
Use a natural tone of eyeshadow (gold, light browns,,,you know....) experiment on yourself and see what works well for you!
good luck

Well cleansed, toned and moisturised skin should be gorgeous and glowing in itself without the need for foundation. However, if you really can’t go bare, apply a lightweight foundation like Miss Sporty So Matte foundation ($1.99) and use a damp cosmetic sponge for a more natural result.
To control shine, apply a light dusting of translucent powder to the areas that are prone to melting, like your forehead, nose and chin. Or why not carry some anti-shine blotting paper like T-Zone’s No Shine Papers for on the go action?
While coloured lippie is great for a full on glam look, it can look too bold for a natural babe. Apply a sheer gloss like Boots 17 Dazzle Shine Lipgloss ($3.49) in Bubbly for the most kissable lips around.
Make the most of your eyes by simply defining with a brown kohl pencil, following your natural lash line. Accentuate your lashes by applying a coat of brown mascara (black can look too harsh) like Rimmel Volume Flash Mascara ($4.99) and remember to comb through to avoid any yucky clogs.
A light dusting of blusher in the apple of your cheeks is all you need for a rosy glow – you should look slightly flushed instead of out of puff! To get a natural finish, smile hard and apply the colour in the fleshy part of your cheeks. We love Natural Collection Creamy Cheek Colour ($2.49) in Pink Blush.

People are making this too complicated. Use a little powder foundation just to even out your complexion. Then use a loose powder brush to apply a little bronzer to the high points on your face...cheeks, forehead, a smidge on the chin...and put a little bronzer in place of shadow on the outer part of your eye. Use a little mascara and gloss on your lips and you're totally "undone" and beautiful.

I love to mix a little of liquid foundation with moisturizer. Obviously you use half of what you would normally. But it gives you a nice sheer, dewy look that give a little bit if coverage and still looks fresh. Or if it is powder you use, apply like norm and finish with a little spritz of spray toner. Water works too but not as well as toner. Always finish with mascara and gloss. I do this every day and I am constantly told how pretty my skin is and every one else thinks I wear nothing. Our little secret.

Wear a concealer even with your skin tones. Use a light eyeshadow, maybe just a sparkle. And a clear lip gloss. This is what I do and it works great, but you cant tell I'm wearing makeup, just looks like I have a certain "glow" about me.

This is very simple all you need is Maybaline matte finish foundation. only put it on the areas that you need a little lift and also put it ON your eye lids. you will be amazed how it will bring your face to life. As far as eye shadows are concerned with you don't really need one i would use a Nice dark brown mascara it will open your eyes up and you will be ready to go!

When you're tan..I honestly know you don't need alot of makeup if possible non at all ( maybe a little mascara and eyeliner)..
If you have scars, blemishes or acne...Use alittle bit foundation if your foundation is abit too thick ...you can add couple drops of water...

BLEND BLEND BLEND!!!!! and stick to neutral tones...
must haves if you're aiming for the natural look: a great powder to touch up (make sure it matches well... mac has great choices, if you're on a budget... find a colorless one in the cosmetic section of the drugstore), sheer lipgloss and a natural lipliner, mascara (only as dark as your natural hair), light to medium brown shadow (blend blend blend) and blush...since you're tanned maybe opt for a peachy tone.
