Hello! I just got Craftsm**'s 12' miter saw. When I pressed the trigger button, saw starts spinning but dies after 3~5 seconds. So I can only cut for 3~5 seconds at a time? Or is there a problem? I am using the recommend extension wire. Thanks!

you have a brush problem!! on the motor should be two round buttons with a slot in each,, un screw these and look at the brushes for signs of damage,, try to air blow any debris from the holes,, replace the brushes following the curve on the brushes and the contour of the armature,,try her again!! if no go,, then return\exchange

No, it is a lemon. Take it back to the store for an exchange or refund.

Not normal--no one would get any work done if it was. Take it back.
