My exboyfriend is a tattoo artist and he has plenty. So i am used to answering these questions. 1. If its in colour, i would advise you put some gladwrap over it so it doesnt blister from the heat. 2. Creams help to keep the skin fresh. Use non-toxic ones or ones with less chemicals in them. 3. Dont pick at it! even if it does blister dont! 4. Never ever put any heat near it, esp if its closing. Hope its a cute tat!

Assuming you're a guy and don't want a fragranced lotion, use Cetaphil. When out in the sun, make sure you put an SPF of at least 30 so the sun won't fade out the colors. Other than the sun and moisturization, there's nothing else.

Cut a juicy lemon into slices, apply the slices to the tattooed area and keep there for 2 minutes.

Sun can fade it. Make sure whenever you are outside and if the tattoo is exposed to sunlight, that you keep high spf suntan lotion on it.
