either you're pregnant, you have hormonal imbalances, or you're stressed. stress can cause periods to be irregular, or can cause you to miss a period. if you continue to miss periods you may want to visit an OB/GYN so he or she can figure out why.

the reasons for missing a period are many and varied.

it could be:
you may be pregnant
it may be a side effect of medication, or an illness
you may be overly stressed
your body may have gone into starvation mode
you may have miscalculated your dates

If your period does not show up next month do go to your doctor in the meantime do not worry over it.

It could be you're pregnant, or you're stressed. How old are you? Are your periods normally regular? It could also be because of weight loss - underweight people often miss periods. Also, very athletic, active people can also miss periods. It's called amenorrhea. If you think you could be pregnant, go to a doctor and get tested.

pregnacy is not always the answer to why you didint hae your period... other reason is because you may be too stressed for your body to function correctly/ or that you may have lost weight and if you are under 10% of body fat then that will allow you to miss your period as well..

I'm going to assume you're not a defective typewriter (sorry, old joke). You could be pregnant, you could have messed up your birth control pills, or there may be another problem. I suggest you see your doctor to find out for certain.

Are you stressed? Stress can be the biggest culprit. Mine has disappeared for months at a time due to stress.
