I think he's just doing his 911 documentary for the money. He presents a one sided view and doesn't provide you with accurate information about the opposing view so that you can make up your own opinion.

Neither.

I) Heroism implies some sort of overcoming fear or danger. Mr. Moore has no reason to fear - he has done nothing illegal, as far as I know, and he is only in the same danger that all of us who hold strong opinions are. 'Crusader' is really a loaded word these days. Not wanting to call a jihad, I would find some other word.

II) Egotistical? Sure, who isn't? He doesn't distort any more than the propagandists who oppose him do. And who the hell can ascertain exactly what the 'facts' are anyway, when everyone
seems to be lying these days.

For what it's worth, I do enjoy his movies. Documentaries? I think not. His films are made to convince ppl of the validity of his point of view, and are, therefore, a type of propaganda. I don't think that's bad, as long as the watcher is aware of that.

By the way, I do, for the most part, share his point of view.

Definitely heroic crusader. Its ironic hearing him trashed for standing up for working people, questioning big shot executives for closing down factories and throwing thousands of people out of work. And he was right on the money on 9-11, too. America could use a lot more Michael Moores!

Doesn't it strike anyone as blatently hypocritical that Moore made a hefty profit from the war he hated so much? This guy cuts and pastes his video to get the story he wants.

Anyone who is actually concerned about truth doesn't try to offend 50% of the population at the same time. And besides, I can make a movie that gets all the liberals clapping and cheering like monkeys too, its what they want to see and hear.

Have you ever noticed Michael Moore is a little out of shape? My opinion is he needs to spend some time in the gym

I have pondered that question myself. If you believe his documentary about 9/11 then why is George still president?

if he is lying, why hasn't George jailed him for slander?

I think he must be speaking truth of some sort, or he would surely be in jail. That IS a poser though...
I find him somewhat egotistical on either count.

Michael Moore is a very good writer. I hardly ever agree with
him on anything, but I must give credit where it is do. He has
had one or two best sellers, and you cannot take that away
from him.

In my book he is only a little bit less believable than Al Gore.

And if Al Gore would say that it is a sunny day, I would make sure that I had a raincoat, umbrella, and overshoes. (Sorry I do not know how to build an Ark).
