have an embarrassing address bar and want to know how to manually delete it.

go to TOOLS, BROWSER OPTIONS, REMOVE ALL URL'S from address bar. Click OK.
Then go to Performance and Maintenance, free up space on your hard drive.

If using IE: Tools>Internet Optons>General tab>History>click Clear History.
Yahoo Browser: Tools>Browser options>Clear URL button

Clear history. If you mean the bar itself, go into Add/Remove Programs and remove it.
