A story is something you tell or write or paint...etc. that gives the reader,listener,etc the meaning. Such as Mary had a Little Lamb tells a STORY about how she took her lamb to school one day and its fleece is really white. I'm sure you have read many stories.

begining, middle, ending. facts, who, what, where, when , how , why. this is a make up story , some thing you did, places, person, things, the help write a story. what you want in the story, how it started, what makes it special. this is what a story
