I have a Toshiba laptop (Satellite L25). I needed to reinstall everything and discovered that the "recovery disc" is actually on the hard drive. I tried the routine from the website (holding 0 while powering up) but this did not work. Does anyone know how to get this done? I called Toshiba, but they wanted $35 just to talk to me.
Help, please

Try holding F1 (even ESC, or combination of both) to enter setup in Toshiba.

If you want to REINSTALL everything, then I think you don't need the recovery disc. And even you had the recovery disc, it may not anymore useful since your system is already 'confused'.

If you don't want to consult a technician, then go on and prepare to format your laptop. But first prepare everything:
(1) floppy disk - which is bootable and contains the FORMAT.exe
(2) CD - which contains your OS to install.
(3) Drivers - if you don't have any backup, then just lookup in Internet.
(4) Backup your personal files on your laptop.
