I have been married to a man 20 years older than me for 5 years I am 26 he is 46. Go for what floats your boat, dont worry about the people and as long as you get the most important questions [rent, kids, dishes, etc ] out the way you'll be fine. good luck

Well, just imagine 20 years of Gravity. Will he still be that smooth talking, older guy with all of the right answers. Use him, abuse him, then kick him to the curb. Just kidding. I should write Novels...
I hadn't seen the love of my life for 25 years, and when we met up in
Istanbul, Turkey, it was as if time had stood still. Our hearts still beat strong for each other, even though he now, had a family that he cherished. I have his son whom I have also cherished. Sometimes spirits are supposed to find each other, for a while in time..

If it doesn't matter to the both of you then why should it matter to anyone else. The relationship will consist of you and him, that's it! Not your parents, not his parents, your friends or his friends...just the two of you and that is the way it should be. The world would be a much kinder and gentler place if everyone could just worry about their own business and not everybody else's. Enjoy your life and love your man. Listen to nothing but your heart.

Since your over 18, you can do just about anything you want...and if you really love this guy, your friends and family are just going to have to accept him, and if they don't, then they dont' really care about you. It's your life, if he makes you feel like your the only girl on the earth, and you truely love him...age doesn't matter...it's the feel the person brings you

DO NOT get physical unless he marries you! The age difference (20 years) is huge. Think of it this way.
When you are 43 he will be 63.

By all means get to know him first and find out if he is just playing with you. Don't you eventually want marriage? Is he just wanting to play? and if that is true then will he be in the way of your finding the right one.? A lot of guys in their 40's don't want long term commitmentsThey want to play the field.I've met a lot of them that only want your body. If so they will throw you away as fast as they found you.

If you two really have a connection age doesn't matter. I am 11 years older than my wife and there is no problem.

Liz, baby, in these days and times nothing really matters anymore even if your bf is 80 years old and in a wheel chair.
