i had sex on the 4th of november and the 6th of november i had it calculated the baby would arrive around the 15th of august. according to my very light period i had around the 22nd of november i have my date calculated to august 29th. my doctor says i am measuring 37 weeks.that goes with my conceived date but they still have me calculated by my last period. which is correct?

you said that you had sex on 4th and6th of november. your LMP might be on 22nd of october(may not be november22nd.) according to LMP your EDD is 29.07.06. if we concider the date of coitus the EDD is 04.08.06. i think you may deliver within 10 days.

We go by the first day of your last period. Even though you are measuring at 37 weeks, that really doesn't mean anything. Babies can measure a few weeks ahead or a few weeks behind, that's why your due date is an approximate date of delievery. Don't worry about it, it will all work out in the end.

If you are measuring 37 weeks then I would guess you're due in about three weeks. Usually the ultrasound is more accurate. Some women spot and think they get their periods even though they are pregnant and it's not a period. Doesn't look like much longer for you! Best of luck!

Due date is usually calculated from your last period. However, it should be noted that the little one can arrive 2 weeks earlier or 2 weeks later than the calculated date. Speaking from my own experience. Also you can check out this neat little web site.

LOOK ON THE INTERNET. THEY HAVE CERTAIN SITES THAT HAVE PREGNANCY CALENDARS FOR FREE. YOU CAN CHECK YAHOO SEARCH. THEY GO BY THE (LMP) LAST MONTHLY PERIOD. IT WILL GIVE YOU AND ESTIMATED GUESS ON WHEN YOU ARE DUE! EVEN THE DOCS DATE ARE ESTIMATED! GOOD LUCK! OHH.... THEY GO BY YOUR LMP IF U DON'T KNOW WHAT DAY YOU GOT PREGNANT. BUT ALSO IF YOU HAVE A ULTRASOUND THE LENGTH OF THE BABY GIVES YOU THE BEST DATE!

They should calculate your due date based on your conception date.
