Money does make the world go round. If you want to control anything control the money supply. The rich really do have a disproportionate amount of power because 'Money is power'. International conglomerates have more money, and consequently more power, than many countries. They can dictate the terms on which they will even participate in a country - what amount of tax they will pay for example. Ultimately money decides who lives and who dies - there can't be a much more fundemental way in which money makes the world go round. The Middle East would not matter to the West if it wasn't for its Oil. But Oil is not what is ultimately wanted it is the money which it brings.

Yes. Just think, if there was no money, no one would work. So you would have no cars built, no houses built (unless you did it yourself), no death, no George Bush(i wish), see all of this stuff involves money.
