I was born in the early 90s and since I love 80s, it's more cool to get music than movies.

I love Talking Heads (especially David Byrne, he is the smartest man in rock and roll, quite possibly the world), Elvis Costello and the Attractions, Nick "Jesus of Cool" Lowe, Squeeze, The Cars. I like a lot of the new wave stuff. There was a lot of good music then, but also a lot of crap.

A friend of mine and I were just talking about this last night. He absolutely hated the eighties. The haircuts, the club music, all of it. I thought alot of good music was made. With the new digital technology there was alot of experimental music being done. I enjoyed industrial and post-punk. I had one of those bad haircuts. I won't take that back!!
