It's a tie between Underworld (both 1&2) and Bram Stroker's Dracula. I don't remeber the exact years on these movies but I do know that Gary Oldman was the vampire in Bram Strker's Dracula. I think I like these because they maintain some of the romance associated with the whole vampire myth.

I liked the Lost Boys only because it incorporated an excellent idea of 80's vampires. Most Vampire movies are very sexual driven, in the Lost Boys it did accompany a sexual vibe but it didn't stray too much along the lines of that. You got some humor and an excellent choice of music for the movie. I enjoyed it because of the humor, the music, and the vampires. It was a good movie. I would also say that Interview With A Vampire was a good vampire movie because there was an understandable story. To me, Vampires are an extremely old character so something that has to accompany an old character is history. If I can get a sense of history throughout a vampire movie that would be great. A good story is very important. I also think Bram Stokers Dracula was pretty good as well.

F.W. Muranu's landmark 1922 silent masterpice "Nosferatu," which was one of the most important and influential films of the German Expressionist movement. Eschewing the elaborately artificial studio-bound sets that gave most German Expressionist films their luridly somber mood, Murnau used actual central European locations for his vampire tale, and he created a foreboding atmosphere through such cinematic techniques as negative exposures and stop-motion photography. The vampire Count Orlock was played with excellent and frightening mastery by Max Shreck.

Vampires with James Woods, hunt them in the daylight, SOMEONE is thinking.

Best quote too "If you think I won't kill you because your a priest, then you seriously underestimated the wrong mother f**ker"

Then again Blade is damn good too.
