Why so young?

Can anyone tell me why there are 15 year old girls wanting to get pregnant? I see all these LITTLE GIRLS on here saying they are 13 or 14 or 15 and pregnant!! I don't understand this. Do they not realize that they aren't able to support these babies in any way? Not emotionally or financially. Do they realize they are hurting these innocent babies more than they are hurting themselves? Please someone help me to understand why these girls are doing this.

For the Itailian... girl, I was 15 and not liked. Sex never crossed my mind as a way to be liked. Obviously your sister doesn't respect herself or she wouldn't have given it up to be liked. She had sex at a young age and didn't think about the consequences. That's her fault, not her boyfriends. Last time I checked, everyone had their own mind. She could have told her boyfriend no. She chose her fate, don't try to blame it on someone else. I have my facts straight. I think it's you who needs to straighten YOUR facts out.

Sidd, I am sorry. This question was not about girls who were raped and kept the baby. It is about girls who willingly have sex and try to get pregnant. I actually admire you for keeping the baby and not aborting it. I am sorry if I hurt your feelings. I wish you and your baby nothing but the best.

really im with you all the way.. im 15 and dont wanna have a baby or have sex.. im too young..and i tell my friends but they dont care....i think they do it to look cool and get guys..but thats not the way..and i think its nasty to lose it just to get guys.

Maybe they are hanging with the wrong crowd. Or they want things most people wait till they are like 19 going on 20 to have. I know my cousin Bridget was pregnant at 18 graduated 1 week the next week got married then the next week had her baby. I mean 3 life changing events in 3 weeks...... true story BTW. Shes only like 23 had 3 babies (had twins 2 years ago or so)

I'm really hoping at least some of these girls are bored and lonely and just making up stories to pass the time. I have an almost 13 year old sister-in-law and she's not even thinking about that stuff (although, she does notice when actors are cute). I couldn't imagine her having a baby so young. heck, I can't imagine her 18 year old sister having a baby right now.

I guess their parents dont make them do anything around the house, got no sense of responsibility, so they just try to prove something - that they are big- to themselves or anybody around. I bet you ask any of those girls take care of the family cooking, cleaning, laundry (because THAT comes with the baby too) and get a part time job to actually feed and dress the baby and give up all her free time .... they'll change their mind VERY fast. So its up to the parents to let those little airhaeds know all this.

well, also next time come across as girls who aren't married...im 15 and married...my husband has a job and my parents have enough money if i ever needed help...emotionally and financially i can take care of baby better than a 20-25- or 30 year old unmarried women with a job...with a family you need love. Now girls who aren't married and are immature, i think i've heard it's because they think they are cute and they don't realize it's alot of responsibility.

If they understood what they were getting into, they would not be getting into it. They think that being a mother= independence. They feel if they are a mother, that their mother can no longer tell them what to do. We can not make them understand this, 'cause they are teens and always right. Society is to blame, just like cigarettes and alcohol, if it is taboo, or just for adults, there will be a following of children wanting to do it just to feel older. How to stop it? Who knows, but I do know it will take many years and tears to correct it if we can find the way to do it.

It is sad but i have a boifriend coz i had no bodyto tell me about sex = baby i did not have anyone to tell me about life i learned myself. My parents were not there when i was a little girl now im prg. at 15 i was raised by my grandmother who just teached me how to look pretty im not ugly im really pretty but anyways. I grow up with nobody telling me anything but i dont blame anyone but sometimes i fill like im not cared for coz my family told me in the past when i was 7yrs that they know that i wouid be the first to get prg. that hurt me coz it was my own family they always teaz me bout boys it made me fill weird. My mom tells me that i act like my dad than she says she hates him and to stop acting like that and i dont understand i fill like i she does not want me i now i was a mistakeshe doesnt have to be so mean about it. She says i wish you were still a baby i ask her why she says coz i miss you when you were 2yrs old an would listen to her but i think she wishs that coz she was not there when i was a baby. its just to much espacaliy my dad he was a jerk who went to jail for rape and introduce me to weed, cryestal meth, drinking, cigarets etc but i stop it coz i got really skiny and some really bad stuff happen to my body now im getting my weight back that was the first time i saw my dad to isnt that sad? This drug thing stoped when it was around dec 2005 started aug 2004. My life is so sad coz my 3 close friends passed away all this year im still depressed about allof this it hard theres nobody there to come to me and say it okay cuddle me in there arms. Thats how i got prg. coz i found a 21 guy who says he loves me and says he'll be there for the baby. Me and him have the same back ground but this isn't how i pic. my life i know im going to finish school and college who do i know coz i have support on that but not my boyfriend nobody is going to pay for his college.

Kids these days dont get it. Times are a changing 4 the worst in every aspect of life.

im 14 and i have a daughter. however, its not b/c i was love deprived or sex crazed, actually, i was raped. i know how hard it is emotionally and fianicially to raise a child, believe me! Its sad to see teens on here wanting kids now or pregnant by accident. sorry, i had no choice. me and my daughter are doing fine tho, and im trying to give her the best life possible.

15 is nothing. I worked in a hospital maternity ward and have seen 12 year olds having babies. It's scary alright.

If you ask them, they will tell you they just want someone to love...that tells me that they don't feel loved....at 13 14 15 they are to young to understand the consequences....
