Driving tests are harder now than they used to be, although it really depends a lot on what DMV you go to. Talk to friends about their experiences - sometimes driving further to a different DMV location is a big help.

Drive every day. If you're totally confortable with driving, you'll be comfortable during the test. If you're NOT comfortable, don't take the test yet! Definitely don't take any pills or booze of any kind.

Just practice in the area you will be taking your test until you feel confident of the routes there abouts. You will obviously be nervous, because you are being tested, but don't take anything stronger than a cup of coffee... also try not to show your bad nerves to the driving inspector as he will mark that down as a fault. Stay calm and focus.

umm driving isnt that hard all you need to do is stop thinking about what your going to do wrong and think about what you need to do thats right. Dont get ahead of yourself take things one step at a time if you have to stop at a light worry about stoping not which way hes going to tell you to go or if you did something wrong. If he tells you that you did do something wrong dont dorry about it cause its over with and you cant go back and start over just make sure you dont do it again. Try to relax, just not to much. that was the one thing that almost got a point took off my test. when we got done he said i started driving with one hand and he was about 2 seconds from markin me down when i switched and started driving with both.
