No way, I would not want to know my time/day of death in advance, or the way I'm going to die. I'd be a nervous wreak and I would not be able to enjoy my life, because I'd be so focused on the date of my demise.

No, I don't want to know when I'm going to die. If we knew when we were going to die, we would do things much different and it wouldn't be a challange.
As far as stopping it, if you are supposed to die, you are supposed to die.
