all jobs are stepping stones, no matter how satisfied you might feel about a certain job at a certain point. you need to constantly move on and evolve (even if within the same job), because the competition is fierce and you just need to keep your good job or get a better one.

No, I certainly don't have my ideal job. There are 3 jobs that I would consider ideal for me.

1. Political radio talk show host.
2. Financial advisor
3. Restaurant owner

I know I'm not talented enough for #1. As for the other two, maybe I would go for it if I didn't have a family to support. Right now I need a solid job and income to support the family.

Yes and No. Job #1: NO WAY!!!! Never thought I would be dealing with kids from ages 3 yrs to 5th grade!!! Job #2: Yes, I love decorating cakes. Wedding cakes can be a challenge, but I it is a stress reliever if that makes any sense at all. I guess because I enjoy it.

OMG NO!!! I appreciate the experience it has given me working in a small retail company and has helped me decide to go for Retail Management, however, I am a pee-on there....I've been doing the same job for over 5 years, and now, am now stressing my vocal cords because of it (I am on the phone for many hours a day talking to customers).

Neither, the job I have is just a job. But it pays pretty well so I feel stuck. I don't really like my job but I am good at it. So, I try not to complain too much.

Yes, it's the job I always wanted, and I spent 6 long years getting my Master's Degree so I could do it.

My current job is absolutely awesome. It took quite a few crappy jobs to get here, but I really appreciate this one.

This is the best job ever! I'm a graphics designer (and a DJ) and both pay well. I'm happy.
