My wife was flirting with a guy and he tried to kiss her....then recently I found her sitting on the neighbors lap. Well of 19 answers 17 people thought she has, is or would cheat....What do you think?

i think you have suspicions for valid reasons. there is a certain way to behave around the opposite sex when you're married. it gives off the vibe, "i'm taken." my hubs and i still flirt, but there is never any question about taking it farther. and the flirting does not include touching, or expicit sexual conversation. i certainly wouldn't sit on another guy's lap. not only would it deeply hurt my hubs, i would never give another person the wrong impression. i think if she hasn't cheated already, she will soon. if she was really involved and committed to your marriage she wouldn't do things to jeapardize it. and by "finding" her sitting on the neighbors lap, you have reason to believe there are other things you haven't "found" her doing.

My fiance has a "flirty" personality as she says, but she also knows when it is taking it too far. If she were to sit on some other guys lap, even as a joke, then I would assume that she is cheating on me.
so to answer your question if she is taking it that far then she is trying to see how much she can get away with before you get too angry and put a stop to it, if you don't do something about it then yes i belive that she will eventually cheat on you.

sorry to say that and i hope that it doesn't happen

It is very inapropriate to be doing such behaviour with the neighbor and I believe she is cheating. Flirting is one thing that people tend to do without knowing it but I think she clearly knows what she is doing if she decides to make the next move and sit on his lap.

what more do you want, you know the answer, why keep asking it, or do you keep asking it to hear a different answer or to hear the answer you want.it wont happen, if she is showing signs of cheating she might be already doing it. if she is doing it in front of you why dont you do something, she might be looking for a reaction from you. why dont you test her,but be warned you wont be happy with the results, have a guy come on to her and record her( so you can show her later ) or have a friend start emailing her or have a friend flirt with her and secretly meeet her somewhere. she will fall into this trap if she is a cheater.good luck.,

Think you need to ask that question to her, and if you trust her you should believe her answer. Your relationship will never work without trust. I know from my past relationships that the first one that pointed the finger was the one that was untrue. Maybe you live your life too much in your wife world. Sometime married people don't have a life. What i mean is this if your relationship is in trouble relax, find something you like doing and do it. when you are relaxed your mind well work better and your hearts knows the truth.

Don't take our word for it...talk to her...maybe she grew up thinking it was ok to do that...tell her you don't like it...basically you shouldn't be talking to us right now, you should be talking to your wife...for the record...i don't think she's cheating on you...i wouldn't cheat on my husband (not that i have one) with my neighbor when i KNOW my husband would find out...and she probably likes attention and is seeking it form other guys than you, maybe you should have a romantic dinner...show her you can give her the attention that no other man could give her...and about that kiss...she didn't kiss back...so it's not like she wanted it...

Tragically, it appears that way, doesn't it? Hey, my heart goes out to you. Five years ago, I went through exactly the same thing after being married for 17 years. I mean honestly, why do so many people feel they have to do such things? There is such an epidemic of this going on. Why can't people just stay together, and find a way of being happy together, like they used to?

Why would you allow crap like that to continue? Sitting on ones lap is a BIG NO-NO. Kick her to the curb, one thing is flirting but making contact with others is a Hell no. I wouldv'e smacked her and whoever she was sitting on top of. Grab your cajones and start acting like a man, maybe that is why she thinks its ok to do things like that because you allow it to happen. She don;t seem like the type to settle down with. Sorry but sometimes its best to end it soon rather than when it is to late or your in jail for murder. There are plenty of women out there you don't need any of them to disrespect you in any way.

I consider flirting and sitting on another man's lap cheating. She is cheating on you.

Sorry ZoMan, I do not have enough information to make a prediction. But I can say this, If she starts blaming you for cheating on her, I would believe she is cheating.
